Behaviour change is hard. It isn't achieved by telling people what to do. The help employees understand new legislation that required behaviour change, we took them on a journey to put the changes in context.
That journey took employees through the decades from the 60's through to present day. It reinforced how much societal change there has been and helped them move out of an older no longer relevant set of values tot he current day. From that point they were receptive to learning about the changes they were going to have an impact on them.
The animation helped staff in a building/construction company understand that behaviours and values that they had held for generations had to change as a result of new legislation. The animation a jumping off point for the discussion that followed, it provided context for the new information.
