A wise friend once told me that you don't need to see your goal, you just need to know that it is there and start removing the obstacles that are obscuring your view.
He was full of good advice that friend of mine. He tackled my propensity to make mountains out of mole hills by advising me that I could choose to see problems as dog sh*t on the footpath or a brick wall blocking my path – step over or struggle – either way, it is a choice.
This works for critters as much as it does for humans. Here's an octopus that doesn't need to see the water, it just needs the ability to wriggle around obstacles.
It's a mind set.
