Most websites contain mini databases – groups of information made up of the same sort of content e.g. staff profiles, reading lists and event listings. Web Apps are used to collect that information and display the those items as a specific type of content on your site. For example you can collect photos, text, videos and display them in a templates layout. The results are searchable, can be categorised and they can be used in different locations on a website.
Some examples to show how versatile web apps are:
Profiles of past performers and accompanists are collected via a web app and displayed in several places on the website.
Each weekend club members are rostered on to ensure that there are gliding operations in place. Members are organised into teams that repeat their duty obligation on a 8 week cycle. The web app allows details of the teams to be entered and displayed on the calendar.

Lynda.com and Amazon are the two affiliate programs we are in. We chose these because they are our favourite learning sources. Revenue from these affiliate programs is split between the charities we have as paying clients at the end of each financial year.
