This TV news story about a recent CityLink glitch highlighted the use and value of the road schematic we produced of the M1 (Monash Freeway).
As well as being used daily for its intended purpose as a traffic management supplement, the story also shows the schematic being used as reference for the problem on a monitor. News stories are more appealing when they are suppported by good visuals. Notice how the schematic is used to help explain the story to the reporter. We find that good infographics usually end up speaking to a wider audience than originally intended.
