While the arrival of the new Audi Q7 6.0 Litre, 385kW, V12 TDI with 1000Mn of torque and highly dynamic style enhancements is certainly a highlight, the ongoing product improvements across the Audi range include upgrades to the highly successful A6 and Q7 ranges.
The A6, quite apart from a significant style and interior upgrade giving it an even sharper design and comfort edge, has benefited from standard specification of Audi’s intuitive Multi Media Interface (MMI) together with Navigation Plus. A system with 40GB of memory capacity that can seamlessly integrate telephone, music, navigation and vehicle functions.
Combined with the choice of three diesel and three petrol engines, all with the highest efficiency possible and standard quattro-drive in half the range, the A6 has never made a more convincing case for executive class motoring.
Meanwhile the 7-seat Q7 gains detailed design and interior enchantments and the inclusion of a braking energy recovery system which allows for a significant reduction in C02 emissions. In addition there are further improvements in the power delivery and efficiency for each of the five engines available and all are mated to standard six speed tiptronic transmissions.
